Rule Regarding Ties
in Bonspiels
Controversy arose over President Ray’s decision in the recent Dusty Baker
Bonspiel to allow two teams to share a victory rather than declare a clear
winner in spite of those two teams agreeing to the compromise “tied-for-first” position. This was undoubtedly a rare occurrence. In future, ties will be decided initially
upon wins and losses and, failing a clear decision, each skip shall deliver one
rock, no sweepers allowed, closest to the button wins. This decision will be include in the
Operations Manual in the appropriate section(s).
Coffee
and Donuts
The matter was left
in the hands of Rhea McKane to arrange.
Website
Ray Ginglo explained that there are administration problems that exist with LYCOS, the web site provider, and he expects those issues to be resolved within the next month.
