Rental
discussion
Eric Glaister, President of the McIntyre Curling Club, has
advised Ray Schizkoske that our rent for 2009-2010 will increase 10%. Our requests for a more modest increase have
been denied.
Art Mousley stated that we will be able to manage for the
upcoming season, but has concerns for the years ahead. The McIntyre Curling Club has been handed a
10% increase for the next three years, 2009 to 2011. He strongly suggests that our league ask for
the same consideration from the McIntyre Curling Club.
MOVED by Art Mousley, SECONDED by Ray Dumoulin, that we
request that our rent for the curling seasons commencing in October of 2010 and
2011 not exceed 3% per year. CARRIED
