This is an annual event held in November
This annual bonspiel is held in memory of David "Dusty" Baker. Dusty was a long time resident of Schumacher.
He was the Parks and Recreation Director for the Hollinger Mine before he joined the Tisdale Township staff in the same position.
After amalgamation, he became the Director of Parks and Recreation in charge of Ward 3. He was actively involved with hockey,
baseball, tennis and curling in the community. He helped to form the New Horizons Seniors Curling League in 1981 and was active
until his passing at the age of 82.
This Year's Event 2022
The event this year will consist of four games for each team, last two days and will be held on November 22 &
23. The cost is $ 40.00 per person with a lunch included on Wednesday. Teams and Draw will be listed on the right
of this page. Guests will be allowed for the meal at a cost of $20
